Celebrating the wonder of learning from day one.
Adopting a play-based approach, our Pre-Kindergarten program at Holy Cross College welcomes curious three-year-olds, introducing them to a world of imaginative play, music, art and games, fostering a foundational joy in learning and discovery. The program is thoughtfully tailored to the children’s interests, creating a world for them to explore, discover, create, learn and express their ideas through play.
Our purpose-built Early Learning facility caters for our youngest learners, with a blend of indoor and outdoor learning experiences, enabling the children to explore the world around them in an environment that is both inviting and secure. The nature-inspired outdoor setting not only encourages creativity, but also cultivates spatial awareness, coordination and the ability to take measured risks, fostering resilience and the thrill of experimentation and discovery. Children are also immersed in a literacy-rich environment that stimulates creativity, imaginative language, and addresses cognitive, social and physical needs.
Parent involvement is highly encouraged in Pre-Kindergarten, with parents/carers or accompanying adults invited to stay for the first 15 minutes of class to participate in a shared activity. A parent roster will also be accessible, providing opportunity for extended blocks of time where parents/carers can actively support.
